Village and nomadic carpets are characterized by their geometric, primitive design elements, which are improvised by the weavers and woven into the carpets. Village carpets are primarily woven by settled nomads, while nomadic carpets are rather made by wandering nomads. Home-grown sheep wool, natural plant dyes, and a unique character distinguish these carpets. Our collection includes village and nomadic carpets from various regions.
